Which player are you buying now in dynasty leagues and why? Also, what are you willing to give up to get him?

Christian Kirk (WR – JAC)

“Christian Kirk is one of my top dynasty buys this offseason. The last time Kirk was Trevor Lawrence‘s go-to wide receiver, he ended the year as the WR11, averaging 11.8 half-point PPR fantasy points per game. Furthermore, the former Texas A&M star was the WR16, averaging 11.7 fantasy points per game from Week 2 through Week 12 despite Calvin Ridley seeing a 20% target per route run rate during those contests last season (per Fantasy Points Data). With Gabe Davis and Brian Thomas Jr. challenging defenses downfield, expect Kirk to see plenty of volume in the middle of the field. I would happily part with an older veteran with name value like Davante Adams for him.”

Jameson Williams (WR – DET)

“With some dynasty managers losing patience with Jameson Williams, this seems like the right time to buy in on him. The Lions took Williams 12th overall in 2022, even though he was coming off a torn ACL, and they understandably used him very lightly in his rookie season, limiting him to six games and 78 offensive snaps. Last year, Williams missed the first four games of the season with a hamstring injury, his snap share was below 70% in all 12 of the games he played, and he had 24 catches for 354 yards and a couple of touchdowns. Williams is due for a usage spike this season. Yes, Jared Goff is going to throw a lot of passes to slot receiver Amon-Ra St. Brown and TE Sam LaPorta. But Williams’ competition for targets on the outside is Kalif Raymond. Donovan Peoples-Jones and Tre’Quan Smith. Williams had 1,500 receiving yards and 15 TD catches in his final season in Alabama, and he has lethal, game-breaking speed. I’d be willing to give up RBs such as James Conner or Zach Charbonnet to acquire Williams, WRs such as DeAndre Hopkins and Josh Doubs, or TE such as Dallas Goedert.”

Mark Andrews (TE – BAL)

“There seems to be a discount available on Mark Andrews currently because he’s “old” at 28 years old. For what it’s worth, Travis Kelce is 34 years old and has dominated for the last five years. If I can find even close to that kind of production out of Andrews for a late first-round pick then I’ve profited. The Ravens passed more often on first downs last year than at any point with Lamar Jackson at quarterback and with their defense potentially regressing, the passing volume could be even better in 2024.”

Drake London (WR – ATL)

“I’m targeting Drake London on the new-look Atlanta Falcons offense. I think Kirk Cousins starts, and that bodes very well for London. A lot of managers are moving on from him, and I think you could get him for another young WR and a 25 1st in some formats. I’d be willing to pay more, but I’m fine starting the conversation there and seeing where it goes.”

Rachaad White (RB – TB)

“Rachaad White was a top-10 running back last season because of volume, not his talents. He finished second in rushing attempts (272) but 14th in yards (990). Furthermore, White ranked 89th in yards after contact per attempt, 84th in missed tackles forced per attempt, and 76th in explosive run rate in 2023 (per Fantasy Points Data). While the former Arizona State star should have a featured role again this upcoming season, don’t expect that to be the case in 2025. I would trade White for Jonathon Brooks or a first-round rookie pick without thinking twice. ”

Jayden Reed (WR – GB)

“Shopping Jayden Reed while his value is high might not be a bad idea. Reed was a pleasant surprise as a rookie, finishing with 64 catches for 793 yards and eight TDs, plus 119 rushing yards and two TD runs. But Reed had a snap share of 70% or higher in only two of the 18 games he played last year (playoffs included), and he didn’t play 70% of the offensive snaps in any of the eight games Christian Watson missed. Reed will rarely be on the field when the Packers are in two-receiver sets this year. Reed scored 10 touchdowns last season on 75 touches, meaning 13.3% of his touches resulted in a TD — a number that’s bound to regress. As good as Reed is, I like the idea of trading him while interest in him is so high. I’d be willing to take a 2025 first-round rookie pick for Reed, or a veteran such as Mark Andrews or Isiah Pacheco.”

Brandon Aiyuk (WR – SF)

“In 2023, Brandon Aiyuk managed only four top-twenty weekly finishes, was held below 80 receiving yards on eight occasions, didn’t score touchdowns in 60% of his games, and finished as WR30 or worse on six occasions. Nothing has changed for Aiyuk, but he’s priced up as a true elite player. If I can get the 1.04-1.06 in Superflex leagues, I’d take that in a heartbeat. ”

Jonathan Taylor (RB – IND)

“Whether I’m contending or rebuilding, I’m still trying to sell Jonathan Taylor. He’s currently ranked as RB5 in Dynasty ECR, and I would rather trade down for multiple RBs on their way up. Maybe I can move him for Devin Achane and Isaih Pacheco or something similar. A lot of dynasty managers are pretty sharp, so that might be asking a little much, but I’m gonna ask for the world and be willing to entertain counters.”
