The amount of your unmet need is the maximum amount of need-based funding that a student can receive for the year. Unmet need is determined by the following formula:

Villanova University does not meet 100% of demonstrated financial need.
A student cannot receive funding that exceeds their cost of attendance. In addition, a student cannot receive need-based funding and outside privately funded or non/need based gift aid, scholarships, tuition benefits, and tuition remission that exceeds their need. If need is exceeded, an adjustment is made to reduce self-help aid first (loans, Federal Work-Study) then grant funds.
