The Yu-Gi-Oh! TCG occasionally releases structure decks that can contain many useful cards. Usually, you will need to buy three of them to create a working deck or if you want a full playset of a card that has been reprinted.

The Realm of Light Structure Deck is a reprinting of a much older structure deck including monsters and spells from the Lightsworn archetype. These effects can be used in a combination of different ways. You can use the bounce effect to get a field spell back into your hand, then play it again as long as it is not a hard once per turn. You can also use Zephyros as an extra body on the board for Synchro and Link Summons.

8 Judgment Dragon

A good structure deck would be nothing without the original boss monster. While modern Yu-Gi-Oh! has better boss monsters, it is a welcome reprint to help players explore other formats. Judgment Dragon cannot be Normal or Special Summoned unless there are four Lightsworn onsters in the grave.

Solar Recharge is a fantastic way to add some draw power to decks that use a Lightsworn engine or for the deck itself. By discarding one Lightsworn Monster, you can draw two cards and send the top two cards of your deck to the graveyard.

Considering Lightsworn Monsters can trigger their effects in the grave this card provides the best value for decks that benefit from their monsters being sent to the grave. This includes other archetypes such as tearlaments and Skull Servants, which got new support.

6 Charge Of The Light Brigade

Get Better Consistency

Charge of the Light Brigade only works if you utilize Lightsworn Monsters in your deck. Luckily, thats what the structure deck is for. It allows you to send the top three cards of your deck to the graveyard to add a level four or lower Lightsworn Monster from your deck to your hand.

Being a Normal Spell, the card is searchable through Triple Tactics Thrust. The card also dumps the three cards as cost and not effect. This means if someone tries to negate the effect, they will only be negating the addition to hand. So cards dumped can still trigger in the grave.

It lets you target a monster on your opponent’s side of the field and negate its effect. This can stop your opponent’s setup. Meanwhile, the next turn after it gets sent to the grave, you can negate yet another monster effect by banishing this trap from your grave.

3 Michael, The Arch-Lightsworn

At the start, the Lightsworn archetype often lacked a dedicated extra deck monster. Luckily, the years have been kind to the archetype with plenty of support, unlike other less fortunate archetypes in the game. One is available in this structure deck, Michael, the Arch-Lightsworn.
